EC-Lab Technical Notes 36: Board validation

Introduction

The modularity of BioLogic instruments means that users may add additional channel(s) after an experiment has started to run. The board installation can be validated in two steps:
• Firstly, we recommend that you calibrate the channel with the calibration tool available in the EC-Lab® tools menu. The procedure is described at the end of the “Installation & configuration manual” [1] and also in the Technical Note #18 [2].
• If a further check is needed, it is possible to validate the boards using the dummy cells provided with the board(s).
