Honoring Bill Eggers: A Legacy of Leadership in Electrochemistry
Posted on: February 26, 2025
After 18.5 years of dedicated leadership at BioLogic USA, Bill Eggers officially retired this past December. While stepping back from daily operations, he will continue to serve as a consultant and brand ambassador for the next two years.
Bill’s impact on the electrochemical community extends far beyond BioLogic. For decades, he has been a widely recognized figure in the field, playing a key role in advancing electrochemical instrumentation. From his early work in electrochemical impedance spectroscopy to his leadership in making state-of-the-art tools accessible to researchers, Bill has consistently supported innovation, collaboration, and education.
He has played an active role in professional societies, technical conferences, and industry events, strengthening connections across the electrochemical community and shaping the field in meaningful ways.
At BioLogic, Bill’s leadership was instrumental in establishing and growing the U.S. subsidiary, helping the company expand its reach and capabilities. His deep understanding of researchers’ needs, commitment to customer support, and ability to drive innovation have left a lasting mark on BioLogic and the industry as a whole.
As Bill steps back from day-to-day operations, the subsidiary is in great hands with Nick Hall as General Manager and Liz Hall as Business Operations Manager. While we’ll miss his daily presence, we are grateful for his continued guidance and support in this next phase.
Bill, thank you for everything you have done for BioLogic and the electrochemical community. Your legacy will continue to inspire us all.
